Portfolio

A collection of my work across marketing strategy, branding, digital experiences, and creative design. Each project reflects my approach to combining research and strategy with thoughtful design to create work that connects brands with their audiences.

Room 56 MQT

For Room 56 MQT, I developed a cohesive brand identity designed to reflect the venue’s industrial character, historic setting, and elevated event experience. My work included developing the overall brand direction and strategy, designing primary and secondary logos, establishing the color palette and typography, and creating branded materials such as informational pamphlets, business cards, and promotional pieces. Throughout the project, I focused on building a consistent visual identity that could be carried across both print and digital platforms while giving Room 56 a distinctive and recognizable presence.

Applied Tech Design

During my marketing internship with Applied Tech Design, I worked across several areas of the company’s digital marketing and brand presence. My work included redesigning and improving the Shopify website, reorganizing product pages and navigation, improving product photography, developing social media content, creating email and advertising materials, and supporting SEO and digital marketing initiatives. I also conducted competitor and market research to help guide marketing decisions, with an overall focus on creating a more cohesive brand presence and improving how customers discover, understand, and shop the company’s products.

ASNMU Marketing

As Director of Public Relations for ASNMU, Northern Michigan University’s student government, I manage marketing and communications designed to increase student awareness and engagement across campus. My work includes developing promotional campaigns, creating social media and print materials, maintaining brand consistency, promoting events and initiatives, and collaborating with student organizations and campus partners. Projects have included branding and promotion for the Wildcat Farmers Market, Fall Fest, Homecoming, and other campus initiatives, with a focus on creating approachable and engaging communications that connect ASNMU with the student body.

906 Sports Bar

At 906 Sports Bar & Grill, I have combined my marketing and design skills with my experience working directly in restaurant operations and customer service. My work has included designing and updating menus, creating promotional materials to strengthen the restaurant’s customer-facing brand. Working as both a Server-Manager and marketer has also given me firsthand insight into customer behavior, allowing me to approach marketing decisions with an understanding of how they impact both the guest experience and day-to-day operations.

Written Projects

Netflix Service Marketing Brief

For this Services Marketing Briefing, my partner and I conducted an in-depth analysis of Netflix’s service strategy, customer experience, and competitive position within the streaming industry. The project examined areas including service quality, pricing and subscription tiers, personalization, content strategy, technology, competitors, and customer pain points using services marketing frameworks such as SERVQUAL and the 7Ps. Based on our research, we identified opportunities for Netflix to strengthen its service offering and developed strategic recommendations focused on improving customer value and the overall subscriber experience.

Marquette Dockhands Minor League Baseball Team Proposal

For the Marquette Dockhands project, my team and I developed a complete marketing proposal for a fictional Minor League Baseball team based in Marquette, Michigan. The project included market and target audience research, brand positioning, the “Experience Baseball, the U.P. Way” campaign concept, a six-month advertising strategy and budget, and creative materials including posters, mascot concepts, stadium mockups, and a promotional storyboard. The proposal focused on building a family-friendly brand that connects the experience of baseball with the culture and identity of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Proposal for Novel Starbucks Reward Program

For this Services Marketing project, I developed the Starbucks Daily Drink Club, a proposed subscription model designed to create value for both Starbucks and its customers. The project included analyzing subscription services from the customer and company perspectives, developing a three-tier pricing structure, and evaluating customer behavior, profitability, loyalty, and recurring revenue. The final proposal demonstrated how strategic pricing and personalization could encourage repeat visits, strengthen customer relationships, and create a more predictable revenue stream for Starbucks.
